This means that we seek to recognize injustice, repent of any role or benefit from it, and actively seek to bring justice, healing, and righteous transformation into the world. We are called to be Christ's ambassadors, as if God were making his appeal through us.

He has told you, O people, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with God? Micah 6:8

Biblical justice is an ethic laid out by God that defines right relationship between people. Biblical justice means recognizing that every human being is made in God's image. It means treating every human being with the dignity and honor that God requires.

Biblical justice goes even further. It calls upon us to actively serve the poor and the vulnerable, and to do everything within our power to change social structures, policies or institutions that promote or produce injustice.

The Bible On Justice
Gen. 1:27So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.
Lev. 19:15You shall do no injustice in court. You shall not be partial to the poor or defer to the great, but in righteousness shall you judge your neighbor.
Deu. 16:20Justice, and only justice, you shall follow, that you may live and inherit the land that the Lord your God is giving you.
Prov. 21:15When justice is done, it is a joy to the righteous but terror to evildoers.
Ps. 106:3Blessed are they who observe justice, who do righteousness at all times!
Isa. 1:17Learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless, plead the widow's cause.
Isa. 61:8For I the Lord love justice; I hate robbery and wrong; I will faithfully give them their recompense, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them.
Amos 5:24But let justice roll down like waters, and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream.
Matt. 7:12So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.
Luke 4:18-19The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor.
Jam. 1:27Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.
1 John 3:17-18But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him? Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.
Rev. 7:9After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands,

Thus says the Lord of hosts, Render true judgments, show kindness and mercy to one another, do not oppress the widow, the fatherless, the sojourner, or the poor, and let none of you devise evil against another in your heart. Zechariah 7:9-10
