Our amazing staff and interns are here to serve, to strengthen, to encourage, and to lead. These are the committed, hard-working people who serve, often behind the scenes, to ensure that the vision of the church is being accomplished on a daily basis.

BRENT ROAM

Lead Pastor

Brent and Rebecca Roam live near the Delmar Loop in University City with their four children. In 2011, they planted One Family Church, which has grown into a large, thriving, multi-location church making an impact locally, nationally, and globally.


Brent, a St. Louis native, who studied at Oxford, Princeton, and Arizona State, left his law career in 2013 to serve full-time as pastor, and later co-founded The FAM, a nonprofit helping close the racial homeownership gap in St. Louis.


Rebecca, an educator, musician, and artist, serves as One Family Kids Director while continuing her work in education and creative arts.

OVERSEERS

Our Overseers provide prayer, counsel and pastoral oversight for One Family Church. They ensure the spiritual and theological integrity of the church and serve as a source of accountability and support for the church and its senior leadership. 

  • Bishop Claude Alexander, Jr.

    Bishop Claude Alexander has served as the Senior Pastor of the Park Church in Charlotte, NC since 1990. Under Alexander's leadership, Park Church has grown from one local congregation of 600 members to a global ministry of thousands with three locations and a weekly international reach. Bishop Alexander received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from Morehouse College (1985), a Master of Divinity Degree from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary (1988), and a Doctor of Ministry Degree from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (2004). 

  • Dan Dean (Emeritus)

    Dan Dean has served as the Senior Pastor of the Heartland Church in Carrollton, TX since 1999. Prior to the pastorate, Dean was a founding member of the contemporary Christian music trio, Phillips, Craig and Dean. The group has received ten GMA Dove Award nominations, winning four, including Praise and Worship Album of the Year in 2007 for Top of My Lungs, and Inspirational Album of the Year in 2010 for Fearless.

  • Scott Jones

    Pastor Scott has served as the Senior Pastor of Grace Church in Humble, TX since 1995. Under his leadership, Grace Church has grown to a vibrant and thriving church of several thousand members in multiple locations. In addition to his role as Senior Pastor, Pastor Scott also serves as chairman of the Global Network of Christian Ministries – a ministers’ network with over 550 members. 

  • Jeff Wheeler

    Pastor Jeff Wheeler has been serving the local church for over 30 years. His passion is communicating God's truth with Biblical accuracy and cultural relevance. He is currently the Lead Pastor at Central Church in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, a congregation of about 4,000 weekend and online worshippers on two campuses. Jeff is a native of California and a graduate of Azusa Pacific University and Fuller Seminary. He is married to his wife Shirlene of 35+ years. They have three adult children and four grandchildren.
