BRINGING PEOPLE AND GOD TOGETHER IN LOVE REQURES A COMMITMENT TO JUSTICE.

This means that we seek to recognize injustice, repent of any role or benefit from it, and actively seek to bring justice, healing, and righteous transformation into the world. We are called to be Christ's ambassadors, as if God were making his appeal through us.

He has told you, O people, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with God? Micah 6:8

WHAT IS BIBLICAL JUSTICE?

Biblical justice is an ethic laid out by God that defines right relationship between people. Biblical justice means recognizing that every human being is made in God's image. It means treating every human being with the dignity and honor that God requires.

Biblical justice goes even further. It calls upon us to actively serve the poor and the vulnerable, and to do everything within our power to change social structures, policies or institutions that promote or produce injustice.

MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Thus says the Lord of hosts, Render true judgments, show kindness and mercy to one another, do not oppress the widow, the fatherless, the sojourner, or the poor, and let none of you devise evil against another in your heart. Zechariah 7:9-10
